And perhaps it is why the Norns have seen fit to finally bring him and Natasha together.

He might be able to see them all and help them grow and stay healthy, but he has no control over what everyone in those timelines does. He had known that she was from a close approximation of the timeline he’d originally come from and therefore knew that they had some of the same experiences, but that was it.
