"French, we can do that. I do love the way the language rolls off the tongue. It might take a while for you to get the hang of it, but I think that we can get you speaking it in no time. It is certainly easier to learn than English." It wasn't the hardest of the languages she's had to learn, but the rules were never hard and fast and there were always exceptions.
