It feels like forever before she makes it home. The plane flight, the car ride, all of it is far too long before she's back to their loft. She feels like an old married couple already. It's fitting in a way. Nat loves her new place with Clint. She loves how it feels that it's neither hers nor his, but theirs together. All of the furniture is either new, or a mix of a few favorite pieces. They have Nat's huge bed, and all her sheets, but a lot of Clint's little knicknacks here and there from all over the world. His bows and various arrows are either on display, or are being worked on. She set up a little place in the corner for him to put together all his special arrows. There's also space for her to work on weapons as well. Who are they if not for work.
Tonight isn't about that however, it's about being together again after a separation. It feels like forever now that they're a couple. It was never ever like this before, but now it feels like Nat can barely go a few days without seeing Clint. Her body goes through withdraw. Knowing he's home waiting, she makes it in record time, even if it felt like forever. Keys click in the door, and she keys in her security number, banging through the front entrance with her bags all attached. "I'm home, lover."
Looking around, Nat doesn't see Clint right away. It doesn't matter. She drops everything at the door. It's hot as hell, but she's been in the desert, so comparatively, it's not so bad. Stripping off her shirt and her pants, Nat's left in the simple lingerie set she put on this morning knowing she was coming home to Clint. It's nothing fancy, because she was traveling-- but it still looks fabulous on her, especially with her killer heels. This is the sight he sees when she finds him.
